Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton, in the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She also has a younger sister, Ally. Aubrey spent ten seasons performing in the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. But, she declined the invitation twice. The second time it was because she wanted to play in Nashville. Peeples played in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally And Ally and Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and NecessaryRoughness (1991) as a Guest Star. She appeared in made for television films Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. She was one of the main characters in the Nashville series in which she was Layla Grant. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness during an interview with NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples as one of the top talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014
